We are looking for an organized and dedicated 
 
BUSINESS CONTROLLER  

to join our dynamic Business Controlling team at Marimekko´s HQ in Helsinki.  

As a Business Controller for Marimekko you support and challenge the business in both planning and decision-making by identifying gaps and opportunities. You have strong analytical skills, and you are detail oriented with an ability to see the big picture. You are a natural team player with a willingness to contribute and to learn.  

You will have some of our Market Areas nominated as your dedicated business partners, who you will support and challenge in analysis, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting of sales, costs, profitability and other KPIs. Your contribution to decision making is valued and your ability to communicate in a positive and constructive way is key in achieving our common goals.       

This is a full-time permanent position, in which you will report to Marimekko’s Head of Business Control.  

To be successful in this role you should have:  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or equivalent  

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in similar type of position  

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English both verbal and written  

• Strong Excel skills  

• Analytical skills and mindset  

• Scenario and business case building abilities  

• Initiative and independent working style
