Marimekko is looking for a Store Manager to join our store in Oslo!

As a Store Manager at Marimekko, you will be accountable for generating profitable business operations through strong leadership of your team and building great omnichannel customer relations where customers’ wishes is fulfilled in the best possible way. This is a full-time permanent position with start as soon as possible. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Being a Brand Ambassador and expert in Marimekko product knowledge
  • Managing Sales and KPI’s of the store; developing, implementing, and analyzing initiatives to continuously improve sales
  • Ensuring exceptional customer experience is always given. Implementing and improving in store services when needed.
  • Identify as a person with highly commercial mindset, an eye for visual aesthetics and thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Management reporting of all key areas of business
  • Ensuring stock management and assortment replenishment maintains on a high level of accuracy
  • Being the go-to person for everything related to Store Operations
  • Ensuring all marketing and promotional activities are maximized instore
  • Great organizing and planning skills with the ability of implementing long and short-term strategies
  • Creating an exceptional Omni channel customer experience
  • Initiating and hosting events for existing customers and new target groups
  • Leading and developing the store team
  • Being the key trainer and coach for Marimekko retail team members, including internal Art Of Selling sales approach.
  • Role modelling Marimekko’s corporate culture and values and instilling them in your team
  • Building a great work culture

Requirements:

  • Strong selling skills, great sales attitude and customer service-oriented disposition
  • Previous management experience from a comparable position within fashion (min 2 years)
  • Solid understanding of physical and digital retail operations and financials
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Great problem solving skills
  • Business minded and solution orientated to keep up with market trends
  • A degree in business can be an advantage
  • Great presentation skills and willingness to host events in both digital and physical form
  • Outgoing personality, high energy and willingness to reach out to new audiences
  • Passion for fashion and trends
  • Knowledge in Norwegian legislation is a benefit
  • Attention to detail and a sense of accountability
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English
